- Make ready 2 (15 oz.) cans (OR one 28 oz. can) unsalted white beans, drained. (I used Northern. You can also use Navy or Cannellini.)
In the same pan, add onion and cook until translucent. Add cabbage, salt, pepper, paprika and mix everything together. Add bacon back into the pan and mix it together with the cabbage and serve warm. Fermented cabbage is healthy and delicious.
